Matt has over 30 years in the industry. Initially responsible for the VMware environment at Zurich Insurance, in Schaumburg, Illinois, which expanded to Citrix and Storage over his tenure there.

Then, Matt joined EMC as a vSpecialist, a presales role, with expertise across the EMC spectrum of products, including the entire VMware stack, ultimately supporting the Federal customer base. While there, he architected vBlock solutions including the largest VDI implementation to date at 120,000 virtual desktops.

Later, Matt joined VMware supporting a software defined data center platform, which included the full VMware stack, including vSan, vRealize, NSX, and a fully qualified hardware model. In addition, the product had an orchestration element built in for deployment of large applications to whatever cloud or on-premises platform the customer might desire.

Then, Matt moved over to the channel side, citing a desire to not limit himself nor his customers to the single vendor, locked in approach, and allowing for best-in-breed solutions to focus on the business pain points, and achieving success in many ways.
