I’ve spoken before of the vExpert award. To me, this truly represents the recognition of the organization to the community of architects, engineers, and evangelists both internal and external to the company. It recognizes those who’ve contributed in their way to the promotion of these products. It’s quite humbling to have been selected as part of this austere group, populated by some of the premier personnel in the industry. To have been selected for my 7th time is indeed an honor.

I want to offer my sincere congratulations to all award winners this year both new ones, and those who’ve been around since the early days. My appreciation to Corey Romero and his team for undertaking this task, and particularly to John Troyer for creating such a vital community of people who are always willing to step in, offer advice and assistance, and with whom I’ve had some amazing conversations and from whom I’ve learned so much.

My learning has grown so much with the relationships I’ve gained by being a member of these wonderful people.
